2 Vehicles Stolen From Driveways In Westchester

Authorities are warning residents to take precautions following the thefts of two vehicles from driveways in Northern Westchester.

The two cars were stolen from North Castle driveways over the weekend of Saturday, April 27, North Castle Police announced on Monday, April 29.

Police did not reveal exactly where the vehicles were stolen from or if any suspects had been apprehended. However, they did give residents a list of safeguards they could take to avoid being victimized:

Do not leave your vehicle's key fob inside the car and be sure to lock it;
Close and lock all windows and doors;
Park in well-lit areas;
Never leave valuables inside the vehicle, especially in areas where they can be seen.

The department also asked residents to report any suspicious people or vehicles.
